CDC Holdings, Inc. is a group of real estate companies engaged in the development, marketing and management of residential and mixed-use projects catering to the middleincome market. The corporate group also derives significant business from the development and operation of serviced apartments targeting extended-stay business and leisure travellers.
At the helm of its founding and growth is 30-year real estate industry veteran Elsie Chua who serves as the group’s President and Chief Executive Officer.
Among CDC Holdings’ early notable projects include Crisanta Towers, a low-rise building in Pasig City completed in 1989; Quadrillion Mansions, a residential condominium in San Juan City completed in 1995; and two mixed-use buildings in Annapolis, Greenhills – Platinum 1000 and Platinum 2000 – completed 1990 and 1993, respectively.
CDC Holdings, Inc. was among the first to introduce the condotel or serviced apartment concept to the local market with its two developments in Makati City – Millennium Suites in 2001 and Millennium Plaza Residences in 1993. Through a joint venture partnership with Singapore-based The Ascott Limited (Ascott), Millennium Suites was operated under Ascott’s Somerset brand as Somerset Millennium Makati since 2000.
Its most recent turned over developments include Lion’s Park Residences, a 1.9-hectare project with 7 mid-rise condominiums in Bicutan, Paranaque City; and Manila Rivercity Residences, a residential community of 9 mid-rise buildings in Sta. Ana, Manila.
CDC Holdings, Inc. is scheduled to complete the construction of a mixed-use development in Ortigas Center, Pasig City in Q4 2015. The high-rise project will consist of CDC Millennium Suites, 128 units of residential condominiums occupying the top 8 floors of the building, and Citadines Millennium Ortigas Manila, a 210-unit serviced residence operated by The Ascott Limited under its Citadines brand. Commercial spaces for lease are available at the lower floors of the building. In 2016, the company is set to turnover River Green Residences, a mixed-use project in Sta. Ana, Manila with two towers of high-rise condominium and a commercial podium with Puregold Supermarket as its anchor tenant.
